Pet Peeves of the week ~ with a TWIST

Thats right, its time for another venting session.

Ready?

UGH:

1.  Stepping in something wet when you only have socks on.

2.  Stores that close at 6 on Saturday nights.

3.  A packed health club because of all those new year's resolutions.

Ok, but if I change my perspective, check this out:

1.  I am thankful that I have a family and a warm house live in; with healthy children who are able to run around and play outside.  Happy children who come in from outside with runny noses and wet, sloppy, snow boots begging for hot chocolate.

2.  I am so glad that the running store closed at 6 on Saturday night so the employees who work there were able to go home and hopefully spend time with their families.

3.  I enjoy going to the health club and feel so good after a hard workout.  It makes me smile to see so many new faces in the gym.  New people who are motivated and want to become healthier.

Alright, YOUR TURN ~ What's driving you crazy this week?

Pet Peeves of the Week

Time to get a few things off my chest ~ feel free to chime in at any time!

Things that have driven me crazy this week:

1. Store managers who are on a power trip. You want an example? Ok, picture Target. A woman goes up to the customer service counter to return some women's pajamas. She has a receipt and the tags are still on the items. The store manager is working the counter and proceeds to tell the woman the items cannot be returned because she has defaced the tag (the one with the bar code and price on it) and no one would want to purchase such an item. What could the woman possibly have done to the tag? Umm, she blacked out the price on the items because they were gifts. Yep, that's right a little swipe of a sharpie. HOW DARE SHE!

2. People who upload photos onto facebook or other sites without rotating them ~ um no I do not want to look at you sideways!

3. Being sick. No explanation needed.

Ah, I feel much better.  Thanks for letting me vent.
What is bugging you this week?

Pet Peeves of the week and a QUESTION.

I bring you MY pet peeves of the week:

1.  Excessive amounts of snow when I want to travel ~ and yes, somtimes it is about me :)

2.  An inability to understand people on the other end of the phone ~ in this case due to an inability to speak clear ENGLISH!

3.  Travelocity.

4.  The manager at the Westin in PA***UPDATE*** ~ He is no longer a pet peeve :)

5.  Only 2 open check out lanes at Target on a busy shopping day at a busy time.

6.  People who call you back with out listening to the voice mail you left them first.

Ok, thats it for now.

Please vent with me.
What are your pet peeves this week?

AND

one more thing:

Since it's New Year's Eve, what do you plan to do?

I'll answer first.

Us, we keep it low key.
Dinner out as a family.
Games and a movie.
Time together.
Remembering the good things about the past year and the goals and memories we hope to make in the next.

Pet Peeves

Yesterday was just one of those days.

When all of the little pet peeves and annoyances of mine seem need to show themselves ~ and all in one day.

So here we go:

1. Men with long fingernails ~ Hands prettier than mine on a man ~ no thanks!

2. People who drive 30mph up/down the aisles of a parking lot. Have you heard of pedestrians?

3. Subs for my favorite fitness class (um NO, my regular instructor can not be sick ~ just kidding, but she is dearly missed!)

4. When a Facebook friend exclaims that she has 90% of her Christmas shopping done already and is feeling much better now about Christmas. UMmmm, ITS OCTOBER! CAN WE GET THROUGH HALLOWEEN?

5. When you purchase new technology and CAN NOT get it to work!
And speaking of that, because of this GREAT new thing, it is possible I won't have computer access for a few days. Bummer! Hopefully It won't come to this, but if it does, I will see you all again soon.

Ahhh, I feel much better! Thanks for letting me vent.
