Every year we try to escape for a week (
2009, man the kids were little,
2010,
2011). Escape to a cabin on the lake. Away from the hectic everyday life. Time to relax and spend time together without interruption. And this year's vacation was all of that. No internet, limited cell phone use, one television channel, it was wonderful!
~ Here's a small glimpse of our week ~
the kids jumped right into vacation mode :)
we boated and swam every day
sandcastles were built and birds were chased
there was skiing and tubing..... lots of tubing
it was very relaxing
And now to get back into the swing of things......
