One of my New Year's resolutions this year was to finally get rid of the vertical blinds on our sliding glass door and the 2 windows on either side of it.
Thankfully, this can now be marked off of the list!
The problem? This is a bay window area. I wasn't sure how to just add curtains. What do you do with the smaller windows on either side?
Here is my solution:
SO...
The finished product:
Yeah, I can check this one off of my list! And I have 1 1/2 months to spare!
It's Tuesday, so you know what that means don't you?
Oh, you are so smart! What a perfect solution~
ReplyDeleteSO cute! And very very smart!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea! I have a bay window too and I just left the finials off the ends of the curtain rods to make them look more connected. I never though of using pipe fittings like that.
ReplyDeleteHow clever! I have a similar set of windows and I bought the curved rod connectors. Didn't think to use pipe fittings. Thrifty!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great! Very clever using copper piping. I have a PVC rod under a cornice in my big den that I had put curtain rings on. No one can see it, but I get to have drapes that cover my verticals.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I have a bay window also and wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. Thanks for the tips!!
ReplyDeleteFunny I was thinking about my good intentions list today too! Glad you got to strike something of your list. Big improvement!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect and looks so much prettier! You're so smart!
ReplyDeleteI got caught up with kid stuff this week. Your frame is boxed and ready to ship in the morning :)
That's brilliant! And your windows look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat is a brilliant solution! Aren't you smart! A few years too late for me...I never knew what to do with my bay window in a previous house. Don't have any now.
