Hangers

I have Smiley's baptismal gown hanging on a hanger from a shelf in her room.  I've been meaning to get a different hanger, but have been using this one that came with some outfit.

Then, the other day when I was wandering through IKEA I came across some wooden children's hangers and an idea was born!

All you need is this stuff:

Wooden hangers, scrapbook paper, Mod Podge and letter stickers
or other embellishments if you want.

STEP 1:
Trace your hanger onto the paper

STEP 2:
Cut out ~ works best if you cut inside of the line

STEP 3:
Paint some Mod Podge onto your hanger

STEP 4:
Place cut out paper  ~ design side out ~ onto your  "painted" hanger

STEP 5:
Paint more Mod Podge over the top to seal it.

STEP 6:
If you want, use some more Mod Podge and add one large letter or a couple of small letters for initials or other embellishment.

STEP 7:
Let it dry completely

Step 8:
Hang something cute, special, sentimental or all or non of the above on it.

*Really, wouldn't this be a great addition to a clothing gift for a new baby!*
