Pancake batter tip

Just thought I would pass on a quick tip that makes my mornings (and camping trips) a bit easier:

The next time you make pancakes, make extra batter:

Pour the extra batter into a empty, clean and dry ketchup bottle (squeeze salad dressing bottles also work well).

Store in the fridge and Voila ~ pancake batter ready to be shaken, squeezed out and made into fresh, hot pancakes in the morning ~ or whenever you like to eat them. At our house, that could mean supper ~ unless your me of course, because I don't really like pancakes all that well.

Anyway, it's easy squeezy!

(Obviously its been a long day in the sun for me and I need to go to bed!)

Do you just wash the bottle out with soap and water then...I would just want to make sure that the pancakes don't take like ketchup! Great idea that would make making pancakes anytime easy. Not my favorite breakfast/lunch request!

I just run it through the dishwasher, let it air dry well and thats it. I've never had them taste like ketchup or salad dressing. Although I don't eat them much, but no one has ever complained ~ and my darling husband would certainly let me know:)
